NeoPollard Interactive Launches into Canadian Gaming Market through PlayAlberta.ca19th November 2020 |
NeoPollard Interactive LLC has entered the Canadian gaming market through a new agreement which will see it partnering up with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC). NeoPollard has been the operator of PlayAlberta.ca since 30 September, and has already proved successful with thousands flocking to play casino games on the online gaming platform. The collaboration between NeoPollard and AGLC will not only benefit the two parties, but will also increase revenue for community projects which will benefit the people of the province.

With its cutting-edge technology and premium game content, NeoPollard has helped make the AGLC’s dream of having a world-class online gaming platform come true. PlayAlberta.ca is also a regulated online gambling platform, introducing regulations to safeguard new players, while enhancing the players’ gaming experience. This was top priority for the AGLC as the closing down of brick-and-mortar casinos and gambling halls across the province has meant that more individuals were turning to the internet for their entertainment, some of them for the very first time. The Commission wanted to have an enticing gaming platform for players to gravitate towards it rather than towards illegal gambling providers.
After a request for proposals was made in 2019, NeoPollard Interactive emerged as the subsidiary to operate the online platform. PlayAlberta.ca was officially launched just under two months ago but is already popular with Albertans as it offers big payouts. It is also the only regulated website in the province.

Alain Maisonneuve, President and CEO of AGLC, has said that he “is excited to work with NPi and apply their vast experience as we provide a regulated online gambling website that will offer players expanded entertainment options with integrated responsible gambling features and will generate revenue to support valuable programmes and services Albertans rely on every day.”
Canadians who have already experienced the website know that this is no exaggeration. The friendly user interface makes it easy to get started, and the vast portfolio of games will keep players enthralled for hours. Every gaming enthusiast is sure to find something they like, and that is not all. NeoPollard plans to expand its portfolio and keep the excitement coming by introducing poker, bingo, lottery, and a full sportsbook down the line, making PlayAlberta.ca an even bigger force to reckon with when it comes to the online gaming market.
Apart from making the players richer, the platform will also fill the province’s coffers. Mr Maisonneuve said that “PlayAlberta.ca is another way AGLC is implementing its promise to generate revenues for the benefit of Albertans.” He made it clear that this new collaboration will ensure that the players’ rights are protected when gambling since the responsible gaming factor was very high on the list for the two parties involved. This comes in the form of AGLC’s responsible gaming programme GameSense, which arms players with all the knowledge and resources they need to make informed gambling choices.
Experienced and new players alike will be happy to hear that NeoPollard is very customer-centered, providing customers with real-time support through chat, phone and email. General manager Liz Siver stated that “NPi’s growth into the broader North American market exhibits how committed we are to providing the best and most profitable ilottery solutions. We look forward to continuing to evolve PlayAlberta.ca in support of returning revenue to the citizens of Alberta.”
