Blackjack Just Got a Lot More Relaxed6th Oct 2017 |
For players who love Live Blackjack but get a little tired of the stuffy atmosphere that many of the classic Live games offer, Blackjack Party from Evolution in Malta is a nice breath of fresh air. Say goodbye to the black outfits and tidy tables, because here at SuperLenny, Blackjack Party is going to give you the same great game in a much more relaxed setting.
Table and Game Setup
When you first get into the game you are greeted by two dealers in casual, everyday outfits, and they are ready for a fun conversation every time. Whatever the topic of the minute is, you can be sure that your Blackjack Party dealers are going to bring some nice back and forth to help make the game a little less serious. After all, much of what makes Blackjack fun in a land-based casino is the interaction between the dealer and the other players.
Other than the casual feel of the table, and the additional dealer, there aren’t too many surprises with this Blackjack variant so there won’t be any learning curves to contend with. There are seven seats at the table and the same areas for placing your bets.
Playing Your Hands
The laid-back atmosphere of Blackjack Party is good for newbies because it is less intimidating than some of the other tables out there. Despite the added comfort, however, the same basic rules about how to play apply here, so knowing the basics is a good place to start.
After the initial bet is placed, the dealers give all the players at the table two cards. The goal here is to get a hand that equals 21, and if that comes in the first two cards dealt, you win the bet automatically. These hands are called naturals, and they are the best in the game. If you don’t have a 21 in your first hand, things get a little trickier.
The entire game is played in an effort to beat the dealer’s hand. Even when there are several other players at the table, your bet and hand is only affected by what the dealer is holding. That little fact is important to remember because many new players get really caught up in trying to figure out what all the other players are holding which is completely unnecessary. The trick in winning at a Blackjack Party table is to make sure that you take enough cards to bring your hand close to 21, and never over. The closer you get, the better your chances become of having a better hand than the dealer.
