How to Watch DreamHack Malmö

DreamHack is one of the biggest of the eSport tournaments in the world, and it generates the most online traffic of any event. Of course, this is eSports, so it comes as no surprise that these online games are streamed live around the world in order to allow a global audience to participate in the event. With an extremely fast internet connection, cutting edge technology and multiple cameras capturing all the action, those who can’t make it to the tournament itself will still feel like they’re part of the action when watching the event online.

Where to Watch the Games Live

Catering to the online community, DreamHack Malmö is easily accessible. One of the main sites is of course DreamHack.com/tv, which showcases all live feeds complete with excellent commentary so that viewers can keep abreast of the action. In addition to this there is a DreamHack YouTube channel that covers all aspects of all the tournaments, with a recent sister channel of DreamHackCSGO available that offers more CS:GO specific gaming videos, including highlights from the past tournament. Twitch, Znipe and Sliver TV also offer comprehensive coverage of the tournament.

However, all of these options are in English which means that other nationalities will need to find an alternative source if this is not to their liking. There are plenty of these available, with sites for Italian, Finnish, Vietnamese, Czech, and Brazilian to name but a few. A full list of sites can be accessed online. The best part is that all these feeds are all completely free and can be watched instantly.

What’s on Social Media?

DreamHack Malmö also offers extra coverage via a number of social media sites. These include Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram. The first two options have pages specific to CS:GO whilst the latter two are more broad in their DreamHack coverage. Snapchat brings live footage updates throughout the tournament. All of these sites offer exciting posts, updates on players and teams, countdowns, events and fun interactive mini games. For those just looking for behind the scenes action there is also a Flickr account showcasing photos of the event.
