Lenny’s Bet of the Day – France-Iceland3rd Jul 2016 |
The odds of this game does not really reflect how tight this game can turn out to be. The statistics does give a small advantage to France, but it is very slight. Both teams have scored six goals so far in the tournament. Iceland has faced Austria, Portugal, Hungary and England, while France has faced Ireland, Switzerland, Albania and Romania. I would say that Iceland’s opponents have been slightly better teams. But Iceland has conceded twice as many goals as France, and while France has two clean sheets, against Albania and Switzerland, Iceland has none. But this is a game that in some ways smells like football history in the making.
Bet on Iceland to qualify for the semi-finals at 8.00.
