Liverpool on top

This weekend has been full of changes and fireworks in the Premier League world. It is safe to say we’ve had quite a few interesting matches – and we now have a new team on top of the table, Liverpool. This is the first time they’ve been on top under Jurgen Klopp. Their big, big win over Watford (6-1) this Sunday assured them the lead over both Manchester City and Chelsea. With this win, Liverpool has now scored four or more goals for the fifth time this season, from a total of eleven games, which is quite impressive. Of the 6 goals Liverpool got against Watford, there were a total of five goalscorers, which indicates that Liverpool is a very strong team and dangerous to the other top teams on the table. However, there are still some questions about their defence as well as their goalkeeper, Loris Karis – but they are on a great strike, and if they keep this level up, they stand a chance of winning Premier League. Their next match is against Southampton on the 19th of November, and Southampton is currently on 10th place on the table. If Liverpool plays a great game in two weeks, they surely is an even more dangerous competition to the rest of the top teams.Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham

The match between Arsenal and Tottenham this Sunday resulted in a 1-1 draw. This match could have been Arsenal’s opportunity to get to the top of the table, but unfortunately that was not the case. The star player, Theo Walcott had the chance to put them ahead, but it did not go as he had planned. The team were in great shape, but that did not help them to win this match though. However, they’re still unbeaten since the beginning of this season. Tottenham remained on the 5th place on the table, and their manager, Mauricio Pochettino, was happy with his team’s effort on the court.

Arsenal meets Manchester United after the break, on Saturday 19th of November. Manchester United won 3-1 over Swansea this Sunday, which sure did not help the latter team. But with two weeks of training, we have faith that Bob Bradley can work some of his magic on the Swans towards their match against Everton on Sunday 19th of November. Whether Swansea stands a chance to win against Everton is highly doubtable, but there is a chance that they can give them a tough run. There is still a chance that they can climb a step or two up the table.
