The world has long been waiting for Croatia to get its real breakthrough, but for some reason it just never came. It’s a pity, because the Croatians really had something good going on. Just why they have not been able to reach their potential is not easy to say.
The team and their chances
The team is not in any way bad. The fact that a lot of their players play for such huge clubs as Juventus and Real Madrid proves this. So they have all the potential they need to surprise. But most of the players are quite average, and this means that it is very unlikely for Croatia to do any better than reaching quarter finals.
