Tonight’s big game, Swansea two goals against Arsenal, Bournemouth crushed Hull City17th Oct 2016 |
Arsenal 3-2 Swansea
This weekend’s match between Arsenal and Swansea was definitely an interesting one. As expected, Arsenal won the game, but Swansea sure gave them some competition. They were defeated by one goal, and score was 3-2 to Arsenal. With this loss, Swansea has now moved down to 19th place from previously 17th place on the table. This, however, shows that Swansea’s Bob Bradley knows what he is doing. There may be hope for the Swans yet, we will just wait and see what magic tricks Bradley can perform. Arsenal is now in second place on the table, right behind Manchester City, sharing the same points.
Bournemouth’s big win
Another, less close match this Saturday, was the one between Hull City and Bournemouth. The latter won the game by a total of five goals, and Hull City had to swallow the bitter 6-1 loss. This was Bournemouth’s third home win in a row, which has now resulted in a 9th place on the table. With recently securing Mike Phelan’s future as a full-time manager for the Tigers, he certainly has to sort out a few things regarding his team’s defence. One of the most impressive things to this match was the passing accuracy of above 90% between Bournemouth’s midfielders Jack Wilshere, Harry Arter and Andrew Surman. This underlines the importance of a well build-up play and a good strategy.Tonight’s big match between the old rivals
The upcoming match between Liverpool and Manchester United tonight is going to be an exciting one. Liverpool is currently in 4th place on the table while Manchester United is in 7th place, three points under their opponent. The two old rivals meet at Anfield, giving the Reds a home court advantage. Manchester United has had a rough start this season, and winning this match could help them on their way to eventually be in the medal fight. And they have a very good manager in Jose Mourinho, plus their team is a solid and good one, so they have a chance. Let’s not forget about the fact that Manchester United has won their last four league games against the Reds – which means statistics certainly are in their favour. However, Liverpool has really been doing good this season, and are said to be tonight’s favourites. And Liverpool’s manager, Klopp, has been doing a great job with the team since 2015.
