DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 is a huge eSports festival that runs from the 30th August to the 3rd September, and the game being played here is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive a first-person shooter war game. This is the second time that the DreamHack Masters series has come to Malmö. DreamHack Masters Malmö is being held in the Malmö Arena. The arena is designed to hold concerts and other events and can cater to large crowds. It boasts of having high levels of technology and extremely fast internet connection which is part of the reason that it’s such a great venue for eSports. With a total area of 60,000 square metres, it can hold 13,000 people for sporting events with room to spare. The complex also holds a large number of eateries, and there’s even a 295 room hotel which provides convenient accommodation for both players and visitors alike.
As in previous DreamHack Masters events, the main sponsor is the ASUS Republic of Games. The team-up was a highly successful one in previous tournaments, and it means that players this year will once again be using the ASUS PG248Q Gaming monitor and the ASUS ROG G20CB desktop. This allows all players to play on an even field and offers the top of the line equipment with which to play. The ASUS Republic of Games can also be located in the DreamHack expo and Meet & Greet area where other items of their state of the art equipment will be on display. In addition, there will be extra activities to engage their visitors, including some giveaways and prizes.
