Kevin De Bruyne is a name that has been on the minds of all talent-oriented people with an interest in football, for some years now. He played for Genk for four years, before he moved to Chelsea. His time there was mostly spent on loan to Werder Bremen before he was sold to Wolfsburg the following year. He achieved a good number of games in both clubs, and he was sold to Manchester City ahead of this season.
In the national team he’s scored only 13 goals in 40 games, but his statistics in UEFA games looks very interesting indeed. In the 2014 World Cup he played four games, scoring one goal and giving two assists. These are numbers that the fans of Belgium want to see in this championship as well.
A lot of people think that Belgium could surprise us a little and go all the way to win the Euro 2016. It’s certainly not impossible, but it means that some of their players have to forget about a disappointing season for their clubs and focus only the task ahead of them.
