UK sports bettors rejoice – the wait is finally over. Casumo Sportsbook, powered by Casumo Casino, has been launched in the UK for the very first time.
Casumo’s mobile-optimised sportsbook features a live lobby which is bound to please even the most demanding sports bettor, allowing them to “catch all the action in real time.” And don’t think you’re limited only to football or rugby – if it’s sports, it’s probably available to bet on.
There’s the option to customise your betting feed by selecting your favourite sports, tournaments and leagues, so that you’ll only see what you want to see when you log in.
And that’s not all. There’s also a Bet Builder function for an ultra-personalised betting experience. If you’re a dab hand at sports betting, and you know exactly what elements of the game you want to bet on, the Bet Builder allows you to devise your own own bets, putting any number of selected markets in play. This feature is only available on specific major events.
Casumo Sportsbook has also prepared a warm welcome for new joiners. New players benefit from a ‘Bet £10 and get £10 Free Bet’ welcome offer when they register on the site.
Clear, straightforward and simple betting
The Casumo Sportsbook is not completely new to Europe. It was first launched in Germany and Sweden in 2019. The plan had been for the sportsbook to go live in time for the 2018 World Cup.
However, Casumo made the decision to postpone the launch to give it more time to carry out improvements related to the platform.
The aim of the Casumo Sportsbook is to make sports betting as “clear, straightforward and simple” as possible, according to Casumo UK country manager Greg Tatton-Brown.
“We have put the player front and centre in the development of a sportsbook product that is approachable and user-friendly,” Tatton-Brown said.
Besides the dedicated app, the Casumo sportsbook can be accessed on desktop and mobile.
What else is new with Casumo?
Casumo is focusing heavily on customising the casino experience for users. Late last year it introduced the ‘hearting’ option allowing users to create a list of their favourite games on the casino.
Late in 2019, Casumo signed on as the principal partner of Reading FC in June 2019. Anyone who is a keen follower of UK football will by now be familiar with the Royals’ 2019-20 season kits, emblazoned with the Casumo logo.
The casino has supported the team on several special occasions including an auction in support of the Royal British Legion on Remembrance Day, and its participation in the Rainbow Laces campaign.
And despite a number of slip-ups – such as inadvertently targeting problem gamblers who were trying to unsubscribe with an enticing welcome bonus in November 2019 – Casumo is trying to make amends. The introduction of its Play Okay limits gives users greater control over how much they play and how long they play for.
Additionally, a press release from the casino claims that 50 per cent of Casumo’s adverts throughout the 2019/2020 season have focused on spreading awareness about responsible gaming.
