More Exciting Slot Titles This December

Christmas season is here and as temperatures drop and health experts still discourage people from going out, more individuals are staying at home. However, this does not mean sitting bored at home as gambling companies are releasing thrilling new slot titles to help gaming enthusiasts while away the time in the warmth of their homes. The latest slot titles come from Playtech, who have launched a limited slot title, and Yggdrasil, who have released a festive title to get players in the mood for some Christmas joy.

The limited slot title by Playtech is Rubik’s Cube, and as you can guess, is based on the timeless puzzle game. True to who they are, Playtech has given the game an innovative twist with remarkable 3D graphics and the Sticky Wilds mechanic. There is a choice of no less than six different Free Game modes which can be unlocked using the built-in modifier, and players are in control as they can choose the volatility to their liking.

Rubik’s Cube is a limited exclusive with Buzz Bingo and features a specially designed mini-game that will introduce the classic feel of the game to a new generation of players. Director of Casino at Playtech James Frendo shared his excitement about the game, saying, “some brands and themes are truly timeless, and few more so than the iconic Rubik’s® Cube. This legendary puzzle has fascinated players worldwide for over 40 years, so it’s very exciting to be bringing the spirit of the cube to a brand new slot game. Thanks to our game modifiers technology, operators can unlock six different free game modes, making this a truly innovative twist on a classic.”

Representing Buzz Bingo, their Digital Operations Director David Evans added that “millions worldwide have grown up with Rubik’s® Cube, so for our exclusive launch of the new slot, we really wanted to capture the spirit of what must be the most famous puzzle on the planet. Our specially designed mini-game gives a flavour of both the classic brand and the new slot, and we’re confident players will love both ways to play.” Christopher Betting, global CEO at Rubik’s is reported to have said that he is thrilled with the results after having worked so closely with Playtech.

The second slot title has been brought to us by Yggdrasil in partnership with its YG Masters studio partner, TrueLab. The seasonal slots game, titled Christmas Tree, is a combination of joyful music, amazing visuals and absorbing gameplay, capturing the holiday spirit perfectly.

The main character is Santa Claus, and the reels are shaped as beautifully decorated Christmas trees with snowflakes fluttering gently about. To have a winning combination, players must form five or more matching symbols in a diagonal cluster. The winning clusters are removed, with new symbols cascading down to replace the empty slots. After three or more cascades, players receive a Christmas Present which will contain one of the following when unwrapped: five free spins, win multipliers up to x30 or from five to 1,000 bets. Fittingly, a snowman is responsible for turning symbols into Wilds, and the blizzard gives players an even bigger chance of winning.

Everyone seems to be excited about this seasonal game. Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Programs at Yggdrasil, commented that “we are all getting in the Christmas spirit so we’re delighted to introduce True Lab’s second game developed via the YG Masters and our revolutionary GATI technology. Christmas Tree is a fun-filled, captivating game that I’m sure will get everyone in the mood for the festive season. I’m sure players will love this game and, while we encourage putting on your best Christmas jumper, it’s not compulsory.”

Chief Business Development Officer at TrueLab, Vasily Polynov, hit the nail on the head when he said that “In Christmas Tree, our developers have come up with such an innovative and immersive game that’s so enjoyable to play. It’s certainly going to be a happy Christmas for slot fans.”
